Note: Home study component of the program MUST be completed using the APhA eLearning portal, prior to attendance at the live, in-person class.
After completing a registration, a confirmation email is sent to the learner. Please check spam/junk folder if you do not receive the confirmation in a timely manner. The confirmation has instructions to create your APhA learner account and an enrollment link to the APhA eLearning portal which is used to complete the components of the course. Please follow the directions carefully and completely. Registering for the course, does not enroll you in the program. It is a separate step. NJPhA provides access to the course only. APhA developed the content and the modules. After creating an account (an APhA membership is not required to create an eLearning account) and enrolling in the program, complete the components in succession. The home study modules MUST be completed before the live session on October 26th.
Training Consent and eLearning Steps:
The APhA Certificate Training Program hosted by the New Jersey Pharmacists Association will be offered for pharmacists on Oct. 26 with injection technique assessment on Oct. 28 (in-person). By registering for the program, you agree to complete the required modules of the course, participate in the live virtual session on Oct. 26, and other components.
Additionally, you agree to complete the injection technique skills assessment in person at the Princeton Marriott on Oct. 28 and complete the post-activity modules on the APhA portal following the live activity.
The learner is responsible for claiming credit for the course from APhA and creating a certificate of completion, if desired. Neither the credit nor the certificate are provided automatically (APhA instruction provided online).
Credit for completion of the certificate program will only be granted by APhA to participants who complete the self-study requirements, are verified as physically present throughout the duration of the live session, complete the skills process with a passing assessment, and receive a passing score on the online post-test.
Notes: The course modules are linked and are required to be completed in sequence. For example, the home study must be completed prior to the live session on Oct. 26, or you will be unable to access the live session training materials. The home study has 12 hours of content. Please allow ample time to complete it in advance of the Oct. 26 live program. The live session requires your presence and participation in the full day training. Please ensure you join the zoom meeting with a camera-enabled device. You must be visible to instructors through the training to be marked as ‘attended’.
Member registration: $355
Non-member registration: $495
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your registration, please notify NJPhA as soon as possible. Timely notification of a cancellation may allow another person to participate in your place. Seats are reserved. Registrants will receive a refund less a $100 processing fee per registration if canceled one week prior to the event date, no refunds will be issued after October 20th.
If you cancel after you enroll and access the online training modules, you will be charged an additional fee of $125 which is the fee assessed to NJPhA by APhA for access to the self-study program, regardless of the amount of the self-study component you completed.
